ESNNA

Commitment against the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents in Tourism

Zero tolerance against child exploitation. Report to Line 100 or 1815

What is ESNNA?

ESNNA (Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents) is one of the worst forms of violence against children and a serious violation of human rights. In the context of tourism, it refers to the sexual exploitation of minors by national or international travelers.

At Peru Global Travel, we are firmly committed to preventing and eradicating this issue. We reject any form of exploitation and promote ethical, responsible tourism that respects the rights of children and adolescents.

Our commitment

  • Continuous training: All our staff receive specialized training to identify and prevent risk situations.
  • Code of conduct: We adhere to the Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children and Adolescents in Travel and Tourism.
  • Zero tolerance policy: In case of any suspicion, we act immediately and collaborate with the competent authorities.
  • Traveler awareness: We inform our clients about the importance of traveling responsibly.

How to identify risk situations?

  • Adults accompanied by minors who are not their children and display suspicious behavior.
  • Minors who appear to be under excessive control by an adult.
  • Situations where sex tourism is promoted or inappropriate attitudes toward minors are displayed.
  • Establishments that do not request identification or allow minors to enter at inappropriate times.

What to do if you suspect?

If you witness or suspect a case of child sexual exploitation, act immediately:

  • Line 100: Free and confidential service of the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations.
  • Line 1815: Report child sexual exploitation in tourism.
  • National Police of Peru: Go to the nearest police station or call 105.
