The Cusco City Tour has two available schedules to fit your itinerary:

  • ☀️ Morning Shift: Pick-up between 8:30 - 9:00 am | Return approx. 1:30 pm
  • 🌙 Afternoon Shift: Pick-up between 1:00 - 1:30 pm | Return approx. 6:30 pm

The tour lasts approximately 5 hours. We pick you up directly from your hotel in Cusco's historic center.

Note: The exact time may vary slightly depending on your hotel location and traffic.

It depends on the type of ticket you have or purchase. The City Tour visits the following places:

  • Cusco Cathedral (separate entrance - approx. 25 soles)
  • Qoricancha Temple (separate entrance - approx. 15 soles)
  • Sacsayhuamán Complex
  • Q'enqo
  • Puca Pucara
  • Tambomachay

The last 4 sites (Sacsayhuamán, Q'enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay) are included in the Cusco Tourist Ticket (BTC) which costs 70 soles for foreigners and 40 soles for Peruvians/Andean visitors.

Recommendation: If you are only doing the City Tour, buy the Partial Tourist Ticket (valid for 1 day). If you will visit more attractions in Cusco, the Integral Ticket (valid for 10 days) will be more economical.

The Cusco City Tour has an EASY difficulty level, ideal for all types of travelers, including seniors and children.

Important information:

  • Walking: Moderate, with several ups and downs, especially at Sacsayhuamán (located at 3,700 masl).
  • Transportation: Includes tourist bus to move between archaeological sites.
  • Altitude: Cusco is at 3,400 masl, Sacsayhuamán at 3,700 masl. It is normal to feel some shortness of breath when walking fast.

Recommendations:

  • Bring water to stay hydrated during the tour
  • Wear comfortable shoes (cobblestone streets and archaeological sites have uneven terrain)
  • Sun protection: hat, sunscreen and sunglasses (the sun in Cusco is very strong)

  • Original passport (mandatory for students and to verify your nationality when purchasing tickets)
  • Cash in soles to buy entrance tickets (Cathedral, Qoricancha and Tourist Ticket)
  • Comfortable layered clothing (the weather changes quickly between sun and shade)
  • Comfortable shoes (cobblestone streets and uneven terrain)
  • Waterproof jacket or umbrella (especially during rainy season - November to March)
  • Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses (essential, the sun burns even on cloudy days)
  • Water (stay hydrated during the tour)

Important note: Large backpacks are not allowed inside the Cathedral and Qoricancha (only small handbags).
